Goals & Objectives

APPROACHES TO LEARNING

Goal: By the end of the term, the students will engage in new experiences and activities to further their knowledge by engaging in learning through play and exploration.

Objective: The students will be able to describe what the weather is like during the different seasons by naming two or more changes on the tree.

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTH

Goal: By the end of the year, the students will be able to demonstrate and coordinate different movements, navigation, and balance.

Objective: The student will be able to demonstrate that can walk, run, hop, and balance when moving from one to another in the playground.

SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING

Goal: By the end of the year, the students will continue to develop positive relationships with their peers by demonstrating problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Objective: The students will be able to learn to identify and recognize feelings appropriately to convey emotions by practicing techniques for problem-solving and conflict resolution.

COMMUNICATION, LANGUAGE AND LITERACY

Goal: By the end of the unit, students will demonstrate a growing receptive language by making observations and describing them using the new vocabulary taught.

Objective:. The students will be able to describe the weather in winter by identifying two weather changes and naming two different activities they do in winter.

COGNITION AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORLD

Goal: By the end of the term, the students will identify measurable and sort different objects and describe them using vocabulary such as short, tall, red, yellow, green, brown, etc.

Objective: The objective for the students will be to measure two branches from short to tall and then to sort the leaves in different colors red, yellow, green, and brown.
